The 18th annual Radio Day, presented in partnership by Hot 101.9 ( https://hot1019.ca/ ) and New Country 103.5 ( https://newcountry1035.ca/ ), will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 6am-6pm.\nOver the past 17 years, with the help of our incredible community, Radio Day has raised more than $12.6 MILLION for health care in Cape Breton. In 2024, we set a new fundraising record for Radio Day, raising $1.3 MILLION. Can we do it again, Cape Breton?\nThis year, our Foundation is asking for our community’s support in purchasing two lifesaving Prismax machines for the Intensive Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. These machines will be the first of their kind to arrive in Cape Breton and will improve critically sick people’s chances of survival.
