DESCRIPTION:The 32nd Gail Bonar (Finney) & Kevin Carey Memorial Dart Shoot will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Millville Community Centre, in support of the Tom McNeil Cancer Patient Care Fund. There will be a ‘captain’s meeting’ at 9:30 a.m. that day, with the official start time being 10:00 a.m. The event will run until all rounds are finished.\nParticipate & Support\nThose wishing to support this event can do so by making a donation using the form below, or by purchasing raffle tickets for “Lobster & Cheer.” Community members are also invited to attend the event, where food will be served, the bar will be open, a silent auction will be set-up, and many rounds of darts will be played, all making for a great atmosphere.\nTo purchase tickets or learn more, contact Austin Chapman at austinpchapman@hotmail.com or 902-565-5828.\nAbout the Dart Shoot\nThe Gail Bonar (Finney) & Kevin Carey Memorial Dart Shoot first started 32 years ago, ran by an amazing and dedicated group of volunteers. Originally started by Joey Bonar, the event is now co-organized by Joey and his grandson, Austin Chapman. The event raised funds for multiple different areas of health care in our community, until 2015 when the group decided to dedicate their efforts solely to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation’s Tom McNeil Cancer Patient Care Fund.
