Cancer Care Here at Home: In Memory of Bruce Guthro

Bruce Guthro was a true ambassador – a Cape Breton son. A friend to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation, Bruce hosted events and supported projects to raise awareness for the new Cape Breton Cancer Centre. This cause was important to Bruce and will help to support more than 45,000 patient visits that take place each year.

All funds raised during this celebration of a life well lived will be in memory of our friend Bruce. His legacy will live on – a space in Cape Breton’s new Cancer Centre will be dedicated in his honour.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting the Cancer Care Here at Home Campaign.

All donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. Since 1985, the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation, in partnership with the community, has raised multi-millions to strengthen health care in Cape Breton. The Foundation is accredited under Imagine Canada’s national Standards Program, which promotes transparency of charities and nonprofits, and strengthens public confidence in organizations and the sector as a whole. Thank you for helping to strengthen cancer care in Cape Breton!
