Jason Fedora

“I can’t say I’ve had an easy life. I’ve had my struggles and my demons, but cancer was by far the worst. My name is Jason Fedora and I’ve spent a lot of my life in Alberta, but I’m a Cape Bretoner, through and through. Currently, the status of my cancer is that it’s gone, but I know it’s never really completely gone. It could be back any day and could wreak havoc on my life and ravish the positivity that I’ve built over the past few years.

I was diagnosed, in March of 2016, with throat cancer. I went to bed feeling normal one night and the next day I had a mass on my neck. This foreign mass was threatening my life. I was living away from home at the time and although it all seems like a blur now, it went from a scary mass to a cancer diagnosis and then it all came crashing down.”
