30th Birthday 30K for Cancer Care

This year is especially meaningful for husband and wife Jenna and David Dalrymple, as they are both celebrating their 30th birthdays. In honour of this milestone, the couple is running 30KM on August 20, 2026, with a goal of fundraising in support of those affected by cancer in our community.

“We’re incredibly grateful to be able to celebrate this milestone by taking on this challenge together while raising money for such an important cause,” says Jenna. “As a pharmacist at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre, I see firsthand the impact that community donations have on patients’ cancer care. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a meaningful difference in the support and care that patients receive. Knowing that makes this fundraiser even more personal and meaningful to us.”

All donations will support the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation’s Tom McNeil Cancer Patient Care Fund, which currently supports up to 130 patients at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre each month.
