Hockey Fights Cancer

The Cape Breton Eagles Hockey Fights Cancer is BACK, on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

Join us at the Nest as the Eagles take on the Moncton Wildcats at 7:00 pm.

Raffle tickets will be sold for the chance to WIN this year’s special edition, game-worn, Cape Breton Eagles Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys.

All proceeds support the Tom McNeil Cancer Patient Care Fund, which helps more than 75 patients each month. This vital fund helps those battling cancer focus on their health, rather than their finances, during some of their scariest days. Because of donor support, things like travel to specialist appointments (both locally and to Halifax); psychosocial support programs such as counselling, art and music therapy and yoga; medications not covered by insurance; and more, are able to be financed for those in need.
