RADIO DAY 2022
November 1 @ 12:00 am - November 30 @ 11:59 pm
‘RADIO DAY MONTH’, NOVEMBER 1 – 30, 2022
In lieu of our traditional Radio Day event, which couldn’t take place due to hurricane Fiona, the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation will be running a month-long campaign to support mom, baby, and pediatrics at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
With special thanks to our partners at Hot 101.9 and New Country 103.5, throughout the month of November we’ll be sharing health care stories, educational content, and accepting donations in support of this important area of need.
We’re pleased to share that our generous Power Hour partners, MECO Construction DKI, Jim Sampson Motors, and Schwartz Furniture, remain committed to the cause. Providing matching gifts of $10,000 each, all donations made to ‘Radio Day Month’ throughout November – up to $30,000!
Radio Day is our Foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year, and this year would have marked our 15th annual event. Though our plans have shifted, the need to support the littlest Cape Breton patients, and their families, remains.
Each year, more than 900 babies are born at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital (CBRH), and approximately one third are born into poverty. By supporting mom, baby, and pediatrics at the CBRH, your gift will directly help to fund necessary prescriptions not covered through medical plans, travel costs to-and-from specialist appointments in Halifax or Toronto, newborn necessities such as car seats and diapers, parking passes for families with long hospital stays, and more.
This November, give back to ‘Radio Day Month’ and double your impact, because you care!
