A Day of Giving to Health Care in Cape Breton
The Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation’s largest fundraising initiative of the year is back! The 19th annual Radio Day, presented in partnership by Hot 101.9 and New Country 103.5, will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 6am-6pm.
Over the past 18 years, with the help of our incredible community, Radio Day has raised more than $14 MILLION for health care in Cape Breton. In 2025, we set a new fundraising record for Radio Day, raising $1.4 MILLION. Can we do it again, Cape Breton?
This year, our Foundation is asking for our community’s support in purchasing two portable X-ray machines for the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. These machines will bring lifesaving imaging directly to the bedside of patients who are too sick, injured, or unstable to be transported to Diagnostic Imaging.
